         The joke and its relation with the Unconscious: The only place where there are weapons of mass destruction is in the Oval Office.

THE WAR

 

               The war,
               today I have been thinking about the gentlemen and the war.
               And I must say it, though no one might believe it,
               a thousand litres of coagulated blood burst into tears.
               My mother's womb broken into a thousand pieces,
               her arms, her loves, her frozen nerves.
               My father, his gaze worn by time,
               my father dead, rotten, worm-ridden,
               and my sad brothers and myself, living from silences.

               The war,
               today I have been thinking about the ladies and the war.
               In my village no one slept well,
               the heart of the city was agitated.
               Women knitted cloths of blood during the night,
               men murmured, plotted revenges, died.
               The younger people dressed in mourning clothes permanently
               and the little future angels died before birth
               and my sad sisters and myself, dying from silences.

               The war,
               this time, will also be with others.
               I will speak with the hidden voices of the earth,
               with those dead who were completely
               deprived of their freedom.
               Beautiful boys, full of energy,
               killed before their time.
               I am that grandiose liberated energy,
               no one will be able to defeat me, I am a million dead,
               the hymn that death claims for itself,
               the black of the black,
               the glitter of black,
               the emeralds of death.
