We
are the Indios Grises and
we want to blow up
once and forever
the military regime which
is being prepared for us to
live our old age.
We
have found out that
they want to liquidate us not
so much because they hate us but
because there will be no bread.
We
want to make the
ministers know that
we have already got bread
and we come to
ask for freedom.
Freedom
over the trees, on
top of the waves, freedom
under the feet of
a delicate afternoon.
Freedom
for love until
we become a hundred and forty
and we want retirement after
becoming a hundred.
Gentlemen
of the Government and
beloved youth
listen to the Indio Gris who
will tell you a truth.
If
you listen to us and
there is no betterment for old age
in less than fifteen years we
will seize power.
The
money for defence will
go to health care and
for education we
will collect a tax from
all citizens until
they become one hundred years old.
And
if some one asks me,
who will take care of the frontier
when the invader comes?
We
will put in the frontier
a singer and his loves, who,
with his singing, will
be able to expel the damn invaders.
We
will leave the
prison and hospices running so
that they let in the
current ministers
with the President heading them and
his special delirium of
believing firmly that
the world belongs to him and
that he can do everything allied
with Jorge Bus.
I
don't want to speak about my mother
neither of my father
I'm talking about the party
which wants to rule us
until the train derails
and by the way modify
the whole penal code
to be able to punish
he who wants to live longer.
No,
no, no,
this time they won't pass,
they will never, ever,
take away a pleasure from old age.
And
in 2,000 year's time
the world will admit
that these old beings fond of pleasure
saved mankind.
They
made the poor eat,
educated the children,
gave women their place
and sent the senior citizens to power.
We
will place the paintings
in the supermarket
and the museums will be
the State schools.
Everybody
will study
painting and declamation
for citizens
to decorate their room.
And
singing an operetta
and tapping a "jota"
we will be able to play a tango
and cry with the violin.
We
will allow lovers
to invent their own laws
to live together in a better way
and if they are not even able
to respect their own law
we will cut the provision
of so much freedom
and send them back
to primary school
to see if this time
we can teach
the PP bosses
that the Spanish people
since 25 years ago
possesses a Constitution.
