   I'LL DIVORCE WHEN I BECOME 63

When I become 63
I will finally divorce
my father and my mother
and the battle for Algiers.

I will divorce at 63
from the bourgeois love
of Hegel and Gardel.

And no one should be surprised
if at 63
I start a career,
cinema, perhaps.

And in this way I will live
until becoming almost 100
destroying those monsters
which taught me to see.

I will carry Carlitos the dumb
in my mouth
to make silence
when necessary.

I will retain
Vittorio de Sica's charm
